During that era, if someone had committed an illegitimate crime then there was a rule to chop the criminal's nose. Sushruta invented the Rhinoplasty which means nose surgery through which he can reconstruct the broken nose.
Sushruta was also the first cataract surgeon who treated many eye problems. Sushruta did his work with love and affection; he invented in the scientific skill called surgery. At that time this was a totally new concept. That's why he is well known as Father of All Surgery.

Considering and keeping all necessities in mind, Sushruta invented 121 surgical instruments. He is the first surgeon in the world who did this great work.
